After the number of the Palestinian and Syrian number has increased in the camp, especially they have nothing to manage a normal life to their children or them selves… Many families of Shatila camp have hosted the refugees families and provide them blankets, cloths, shelter, food and water… while since July up to now 29 November 2012 nothing came from the international associations or donors… The refugees are thrown as a ball between UNHCR and UNRWA and other international Organization… each send them to other…
CYC has managed to get support from the friends Human Concern International to get support to 30 families. CYC discussed with the refugee families what is their priority need. then we have distributed Kitchen set, Hygiene Kitts, Milk to the children, diapers, small Gaz… Of course that is just very little, the tragedy is to big…

CYC welcome UISP Delegation
As part of Sabra and Shatila Massacre commemoration events. On 25 Sep. 2012 CYC have honor reception for UISP delegation from Italy headed by the president Mr. Fillipo Fossati. In the presence of the political organization, popular committees and NGO’s representatives and other Italian friend delegations from Italian Peace Association and Engineers without Borders.
Mr. Abu Moujahed the director of Children & Youth Centre-CYC has welcomed the guest Delegation of UISP and Mr. Fillipo, assuring the friendship with the Italian people who stand beside the Palestinian people struggle for liberation and their rights to return to home to live in peace, justice and democracy… Abu Moujahed has mentioned to the Italian solidarity role in commemoration of Sabra and Shatila Massacre, and to UISP collaboration with CYC and other association through supporting sport training and equipping the clubs…
Mr. Fillipo has thanked CYC and greeted the presence. He has confirmed the solidarity with the Palestinians rights in peace and freedom… Mr. Fillipo has mentioned to the initiative of Italian President Sandro Pertini by coming to Beirut to meet Yasser Arafat during the Israeli Invasion in 1982, President Sandro brought to Mr. Arafat the Football World Cup that Italy had won a few months before in Spain as symbol of solidarity… Mr. Fillippo add’ today we are coming to share the Palestinian friends the sad feelings of Sabra and Shatila Massacre commemoration, and we would like to assure the friendship and solidarity through providing to CYC the Plaque of Italian Football Federation and the UISP Plaque too… Mr. Abu Moujahed expressed the appreciation to the Italian friends step and provide to Mr. Fillippo CYC Plaque wishing the cooperation and solidarity to continue among the young generation of Palestine and Italy…
