منذ 20 عاما دأب مركز الأطفال والفتوة على ترسيخ العادات والتقاليد لدى المجموعات المتتالية من الأطفال والشباب، حيث يتم إحياء معظم المناسبات الاجتماعية والوطنية والتاريخية، والتعريف عنها والقيم التي تحملها، لذا في كل عام يتم احياء عيد الفطر اسوة بالشعوب العربية والاسلامية، بالزيارة في الصباح الباكر لضرائح الشهداء ومدافن الاهل والاصدقاء احياء لذكراهم وتأكيدا على عدم النسيان، وتجديد العهد كبارا وصغارا للشهداء بان مسيرة النضال لتحقيق اهداف القضية التي استشهدوا في سبيلها مستمرة.

في 15 حزيران 2018 تجمع الساعة الخامسة والنصف في الصباح الباكر أكثرمن 45 طفلا وشابا وشابة من المركز للذهاب الى مدافن الشهداء في مخيم شاتيلا وصبرا، حيث جرى شرح المناسبة، واسباب استشهاد الابطال، واهمية النضال للعودة الى فلسطين حرة مستقلة، وتحقيق الامن والسلام والعدالة للجميع.
بعد ذلك جرى التجمع في المركز لتناول الافطار في جو اسري، وفرح وتبادل التهاني ، ومن ثم تمت جولة لزيارة بعض الاهالي.

For more than 20 years, CYC emphasized on strengthening the customs and traditions among group after group children and young people. Celebrating Most of the social, national and historical events. Raising awareness about its values. Therefore, every year Eid al-Fitre is revived by the Arab and Islamic people, visiting Martyrs cemeteries, relatives and friends graves to revive their memories and the confirmation of non-forgotten, to renew adults and young the Covenant to the martyrs that the march of struggle to achieve the goals of the cause that were martyred in the process is continuing.

On June 15 2018, at 5:30 AM, ’More than 45 children, young men and women from CYC gathered to go to the martyrs cemeteries in Shatila and Sabra. There was explanation of the reasons for the martyrdom of the heroes and the importance of their struggle for the Return to Free and Independent Palestine, achieving the security, peace and justice for all.
After, there was gathering in the center for breakfast in a family atmosphere, joy and exchange of greetings, and then there was a tour of visit to some families in the camp.

بدأ مركز الأطفال والفتوة في مخيم شاتيلا برنامج التدعيم الدراسي كتأسيس لطلاب المرحلة الابتدائية الجدد في صفي الاول والثاني الابتدائي، وذلك بالتعاون مع روضات الاطفال ومدراس الانروا، وتسجيل اسماء الطلاب والتواصل مع الأهل. وقد حضر 57 طالب وطالبة مع احد الابوين، وهذا مؤشر ايجابي لاهتمام الاهل…
وبعد التعارف بين الطلاب والمعلمين ، واجراء امتحان قبلي لتحديد معارف الاطفال في بداية تلقي الدروس ومقارنتها مع ما تعلموه بنهاية الاسبوعين .
من واضح ان العدد سيزيد في الايام القادمة عن امكانية المركز. حيث اننا بسبب نقص التمويل حددنا قدرة الاستيعاب لهذا العام بـ 150 طالبا وطالبة فقط. (75 في شاتيلا ومثلها في نهر البارد)
نفس الشيء بالنسبة للنشاط الترفيهي الابداعي الصيفي، سيكون فقط لـ 200 طفل وطفلة (100 في شاتيلا ومثلها في نهر البارد). نعي ان ذلك يعني ان عددا من الاطفال لن يتمكن من المشاركة، لكن ما العمل؟؟؟. شكرا للاصدقاء الداعمين في السويد، ايطاليا، المملكة المتحدة، وفرنسا، الذين معظم مساهماتهم تأتي لمركز الأطفال والفتوةمن خلال اصدقائنا المنظمين كانها تبرع شخصي مباشر لاطفال شاتيلا ونهر البارد.
كذلك لا بد من شكر فريق العمل في شاتيلا والبارد الذين يعملون بكامل طاقتهم وبمخصصات متدنية، ويعملون ايضا على خفض النفقات للضروريات.

The Children and Youth Center – CYC in Shatila camp started the remedial education program as a basing support to the new primary school students in the 1st. & 2nd elementary grades. CYC has cooperated with the kindergartens and UNRWA schools, registering students’ names and communicated their parents. 57 students attended with one of the parents. which is positive indicator of the parents interest…
After the acknowledge between students and teachers, and a pre-test to find out the knowledge of children at the beginning of the receiving the lessons and compared with what they learned by the end of the two weeks.
It is clear that the number will increase in the coming days beyond the possibility of the center. Because of the lack of funding, we have identified this year’s absorption capacity of only 150 students. (75 in Shatila and the same in Nahr al-Bared).

The same we decide the number of the summer life skills and recreational program has to be for only 200 children ( 100 in Shatila and 100 children in El Bared camp). we know that mean many children will not have the chance to join, but what we can do???. Thanks to our friends supporters In Sweden, Italy, UK and France which most of their support coming to CYC through our friends groups as direct contribution and personal to Shatila and El Bared refugee children… Also to the thanks to the staff in Shatila and El bared camps for their bearing law salaries and minimizing the expenses to the necessaries…
