بعد تأجيل متكرر بسبب عدم الاستقرار الذي يمر به لبنان من تحركات شعبية مطلبية واضرابات وتوتر، ولاحقا مخاطر فيروس كرونا والاقفال المستمر.

عقدت جمعية الأطفال والفتوة جمعيتها العمومية استثنائيا يوم السبت 27 حزيران 2020، حيث تم الأخذ بعين الأعتبار الإجراءات الوقائية من حيث عدد الحضور والتباعد المقبول الى جانب التعقيم وترتيب قاعة المكتبة.

ناقش الحضور التقارير التي قدمتها الهيئة الادارية السابقة التي تناولت الظروف الصعبة السياسية والاقتصادية والمالية الصعبة، وافلاس المصارف، وانفلات سعر صرف الدولار، وشح المصادر، وانعكاساتها التي لا زلنا نعاني منها لغاية اليوم، كما تم تناول إنجازات الجمعية التعليمية، وتجربة نظام التعليم عن بعد لتخفيف اضرار اقفال المدارس، إضافة للدورة التعليمية الخاصة لتمكين طلاب المرحلة الابتدائية الجدد، وكذلك التقديمات الاغاثية والمساعدات الاجتماعية التي جرى تقديمها للاسر في بيروت والشمال. بعد مناقشة الحضور وابداء الملاحظات والاقتراحات، تم انتخاب هيئة إدارية جديدة، والتي بدورها وزعت المهام على أعضاء الهيئة.

وقد اختتم الأجتماع بغداء عمل متواضع جرى تجهيزه من قبل فريق العمل لاقى استحسان المشاركين.

After postponing several times due to the instability situation of Lebanon, through the popular movements, strikes, tension, and subsequently the dangers of the Coronavirus and the constant closure. CYC held its General Assembly on an exceptional basis on Saturday 27 June 2020. The preventive measures were taken into consideration in terms the acceptable number of attendance and spacing, along with sterilization and the arrangement of the library hall.

The attendees discussed the reports presented by the previous Administrative Board that dealt with the difficult political, economic and financial difficult conditions, Banks bankrupt, depreciation of the dollar exchange rate, the scarcity of resources, and their repercussions that we still suffer from till today. As well the discussion include CYC achievements of educational program and the experience of the distance education system to reduce the Damage of school closures, plus the special Summer Educational Course to empower the new elementary students, as well as relief and social assistance provided to needy families in Beirut and North.

After discussion of the attendance, making comments and suggestions, a new Administrative Board was elected, which in turn distributed the tasks among the members of the board. The meeting ended with a modest work lunch prepared by the work team, which was appreciated by the participants.

انهى مركز الأطفال والفتوة الأسبوع الثاني من البرنامج التعليمي التربوي والترفيهي للطلاب المرفعين من صفوف روضة ثالثة الى المرحلة الابتدائية، وكذلك طلاب الصف الأول والثاني ابتدائي الذين سيلتحقون في المدارس للعام الدراسي القادم 2020 – 2021. وسوف يستمر البرنامج لغاية الأسبوع الثاني من تموز 2020 في أجواء ايجابية بين الطلاب والأهل وفريق العمل حيث يتلقى الطلاب في مركزي شاتيلا ونهر البارد الدروس يوميا في اللغتين العربية والإنكليزية ومادة الحساب. إضافة لاجواء الفرح واللعب وتنمية المواهب وزراعة الشتول مع أصدقاء متطوعين من جمعية جذورونا مشكورين.

CYC ended the second week of the educational and recreational program for students raised from the 3rd KG’s grades to the primary stage, as well as the first and second grades elementary students who will enroll in schools next academic year 2020-2021. The program is continuing till the 2nd week of July 2020 in positive atmosphere among Students, parents and staff in Shatila & El Bared. The students are receiving daily lessons in Arabic, English and math, they are enjoying the joyful time, playing, talent development, and planting seedlings and plants with thanks to the volunteer friends from the Jothourana Association.
