On the occasion of the thirty-ninth anniversary of the massacre of Sabra and Shatila and its immortal martyrs. we extend an invitation to our people, our Arab nation, and the liberal people of the world to attend, to participate in the revival of this valuable occasion to the hearts of the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples, and all the free supporters of truth, justice, and peoples issues.
On Thursday, 9-16-2021, a photo exhibition of the martyrs of the massacre will be held in the Peoples Square – Shatila camp at four o’clock in the afternoon.
The popular march will start at 6:00 pm. from the same place, People’s Square, to the cemetery of the martyrs of the massacre.
Glory and eternity to the righteous martyrs
Freedom for the brave prisoners
Victory is for our people, nation, and free people of the world.

ضمن مشروع الحد من العنف عبر تطوير المهارات بدعم البرنامج الكندي لدعم المبادرات المحلية، أقام مركز الأطفال والفتوة في 2-9-2021 ورشة العمل الشبابية الثانية حول التواصل اللاعنفي بمشاركة 30 شاب وشابة من الفئة العمرية 14-18 سنة. باشراف المدربة الأنسة لميا والمساعدين لها. حيث
تفاعل المشاركين بحماسة مع المواضيع التي تضمنتها الورشة.والتي لها اثر مباشر وغير مباشر على سلوكيات الجماعة المحددة. (المخيمات بتعددها السكاني)

استعرض الشباب التحديات والصعوبات التي تعترضهم في المخيم وابرزها،

– انعكاس الأثر الأقتصادي والنفسي السلبي لوضع الأنهيار السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي المعيشي في لبنان على اللاجئين والمهمشين والفقراء.

– البطالة وغياب الفرص والرعاية، والمشاريع الجدية للشباب

– غياب الادارة الرسمية الفاعلة في المخيمات

– تفشي السلوكيات المنحرفة، من مخدرات، وعنف واستغلال مواقع

– تقصير منظمة الأنروا والمنظمات الدولية والقيادة الفلسطينية بمراعاة خصوصية معاناة اللاجئين الفلسطينين في لبنان من تمييز ونقص الخدمات

وبمهارة المدربة جرى نقاش عبر فيه الشباب عن روؤاهم للأساليب والادوات المحددة لحل هذه المشاكل بصورة عامة . وقد اعتمدت طريقة تحليل النزاع وفق (شجرة النزاع ) وفق تحديد المشكلة والأسباب، والى ما ستؤدي وتاثيرها على مستقبل المجتمع المحلي وعلى المجتمع المضيف وعلى الاطفال والشباب بشكل خاص .حيث تفاعل الشباب جيدا بأنشطة التواصل و الحوار بين الشابات و الشباب و التعبير عن الراي بشكل شخصي لكل مشارك . واختتمت الورشة بعد تقييم المشاركين بالتعبير. على ان تستكمل في ورشة قادمة.

Within the project of prevention the violence by skills development with the support of the Canada Fund for Supporting Local Initiatives, CYC held on 2-9-2021 the second youth workshop on nonviolent communication with 30 males and females 14-18 years. Under the supervision of the trainer Miss Lamia and her assistants. The participants interacted enthusiastically with the topics of the workshop, which have a direct and indirect impact on the behavior of the group. (Camps with their multiplicity of population)
The youth reviewed the challenges and difficulties they face in the camp.
– Reflection of the negative economic and psychological impact of the political, economic and social collapse situation in Lebanon on the refugees, the marginalized and poor.
– Unemployment, lack of opportunities and care, and serious projects for youth
– Absence of effective official management in the camps
– The prevalence of deviant behaviors, such as drugs, violence and exploitation of positions
– The failure of UNRWA, International Organizations and the Palestinian leadership to take into account the specificity of the suffering of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon from discrimination and lack of services.

With the skill of the trainer, a discussion took place in which the youth expressed their visions of the specific methods and tools to solve these problems in general. She has followed the method of conflict analysis according to the (conflict tree) in accordance with the identification of the problem and its causes, and what its impact on the future of the local community, on the host community, and on children and youth in particular.
The youth interacted well with the activities of communication and dialogue between young women and men, and the expression of opinion personally for each participant. The workshop was concluded after the participants evaluated the expression, with request to be completed in an upcoming workshop.
