To protect the poor students from the cold weather, CYC with generous support from MECA-US and Doctor Without Borders-Belgium has distributed on 23 December 350 shoes to the refugee students from Syria and students from Shatila and Nar el Bared who are benefit from CYC remedial Education program in Both Camps. For the second time this school year CYC called for a meeting with the students parent, Popular committee, local NGOs and school to share with them the students/children concerns with the first season Education exams. The education. CYC education team has shows the results of the elementary students, which shows 75% have passed their exams(Males 43.75% Females 54.25%) The meeting has serious discussion.
All the attendants have agreed that as long as the camp is suffering of shortage of almost everything economically, socially, human rights, due the Lebanese deprivation, and UNRWA services shortage, all camp stakeholders have to pay more efforts and care of the children, which need the cooperation of the parents, school ,NGOs and the camp officers to play their roles towards the children protection and better future.
