في 20 ايلول 2018 وبحضور 85 طفلا وطفلة وعدد من الامهات بدأ العام الدراسي 2018-2019 لروضة اطفال نهر البارد في مركز الاطفال والفتوة. حيث راح طلاب العام الماضي يستعيدون ذكريات العام الماضي بشوق وفرح ولعب، بينما الطلاب الجديد لا زالوا يتلمسون الطريق الى معرفة الروضة والعابها واغانيها والاصدقاء الجدد

On September 20, 2018, in the presence of 85 children and a number of mothers, the school year 2018-2019 has started for the Nahr al-Bared Children’s Kindergarten of the Children and Youth Centre – CYC. The students of last year recaptured the memories of the last year with longing, joy and playing, while the new students are still learning the way to know the kindergarten, its games, songs and the new friends

استجابة لحاجة وجود روضة جديدة بعد ان استفاض عدد الطلاب عن قدرة استيعاب الروضات في المخيم، عمل مركز الآطفال والفتوة بالتعاون مع الاصدقاء على بناء روضة جديدة في مخيم شاتيلا لابناء اللاجئين الفلسطينيين المقيمين في لبنان والذين هجروا بسبب الحرب في سوريا.
وبالرغم من عدم وجود مصادر تمويل كافية لتغطية التكاليف والاحتياجات الضرورية، فقد تم تدوير مصادر ونفقات مركز الأطفال والفتوة اضافة لاشتراكات الطلاب للتمكن من بدءعمل الروضة مع بدء العام الدراسي 2018-2019. حيث تم استقبال الطلاب من عمر 3 الى 5 سنوات في 20 ايلول 2018. كما تمت تسمية الروضة باسم بلدة علما التي دمرها الاحتلال الاسرائيلي عام 1948.
يتقدم مركزالآطفال والفتوة بالشكر للاصدقاء الذين ساهموا في بناء الروضة، جمعية السلام الايطالية، جمعية فالديزيان، منظمة الناس التي تهتم – ايطاليا، ومؤسسة الاطفال والفتوة –السويد، مؤسسة اطفال الامل في شاتيلا- فرنسا مؤسسة التنمية الفلسطينية- بريطانيا وغيرهم من الاصدقاء المتبرعين. كذلك الشكر لاهالي الطلاب الذين وضعوا ثقتهم في مسيرة المركز التربوية الثقافية والاجتماعية ولفريق العمل الذي تفاني لتحقيق وجود الروضة وتمكين الاطفال من فرصة التنشئة السليمة والتعلم وبناء الشخصية والراحة النفسية واكتساب المهارات.

Due the number of students became over the capacity of the kindergarten’s of the camp to accommodate. The Children and Youth Center-CYC respond in cooperation with friends was, building a new kindergarten in Shatila camp for Palestinian refugee children living in Lebanon, and for the displaced children due the war in Syria. In spite of the lack of adequate funding sources to cover the necessary costs and needs, the resources and expenses of CYC, as well as student contributions have been recycled to enable the Kindergarten to start in the educational year 2018-2019. Where the students were received from the age of 3 to 5 years on 20 September 2018. The kindergarten was also named by Alma, the Palestinian village was demolished by the Israeli occupation in 1948.

CYC is grateful to the friends who contributed to the construction of the Kindergarten, Italian Peace Association, Waldesian Church, The People Who Care- Italy, the Children and Youth Foundation, The God mothers and Fathers-Sweden, L’ Enfant d’ Les Poir – France, PED – UK and other contributing friends. As well as thanks to the students parents for their trust of CYC educational, cultural and social education experience. plus the work team’s dedicated to the existence of the kindergarten and to enable children to have right bringing up, learning, build personality, psychological relaxation, and life skills.
