عقدت جمعية الأطفال والفتوة جمعيتها العمومية في 25-12-2024 بحضور ثلثي الأعضاء وثلاثة ضيوف مراقبين، حيث تقدمت الهيئة الأدارية بتقاريرها الأدبية والمالية للعام الماضي والتوجهات للعام القادم، مفردة حيزا لتداعيات العدوان الصهيوني الأسرائيلي الأميركي والغربي بتواطؤ عربي، وما خلفته الحرب من شهداء ودمار وتشريد في غزة والضفة الغربية وجنوب لبنان والضاحية والبقاع وسوريا. وقد وجهت التحية للمقاومة البطولية وضمنا اليمن والعراق، والجرحى، والصمود الشعبي، ولروح التضامن والتكافل بين مختلف فئات المجتمع. كذلك وجهت التحية والشكر لكل الأصدقاء والمتضامنين في العالم الذين ساهموا في نصرة قضية الشعب الفلسطيني والمطالبة بحماية الأطفال والنساء والمدنيين من حرب الأبادة، ودعموا أعمال الأغاثة والخدمات للمهجرين والعائلات الفقيرة. كما تم تسجيل عجز الهيئات الدولية والمانحة عن لعب دورها كما جرت العادة في الأزمات، بما فيها الأنروا ومؤسسات الأمم المتحدة ، مما اكد ان هذه الهيئات والمؤسسات مرتهنة لسياسة وقرارات الحكومات التي تدير الحرب والمهيمنة على القرارات الأممية والدولية والامم المتحدة.
ناقش المجتمعون التقارير النشاطية المرفوعة مع التوصيات عن التعليم المبكر للأطفال، والتدعيم الدراسي الأبتدائي، وبرامج حماية الأطفال، والخدمات الأجتماعية للمجتمع المحلي، اضافة للشؤون المالية، من مداخيل وانفاق، حيث سجل ان ميزانية المركز مع ترشيد الأنفاق لم تشهد عجزا ماليا هذا العام. وبما ان انتخاب الهيئة الأدارية لعامين، وان جلسة الجمعية العمومية ليست انتخابية لهذا العام فقد جرى عرض عضوية الهيئة الأدارية على تثبيت او سحب العضوية، فقد تم اعادة تثبيت جميع الأعضاء للعام القادم. وانتهى الأجتماع بغداء عمل عائلي للمشاركين.
The Children and Youth Association-CYC held its general assembly on 25/12/2024, attended by two-thirds of the members and three guest observers. The administrative committee submitted its narrative and financial reports for the past year and the directions for the coming year with recommendations, devoting space to the repercussions of the Zionist-Israeli-American-Western aggression with Arab collusion, and what the war caused martyrs, destruction and displacement in Gaza, West Bank, south of Lebanon, Southern Suburbs of Beirut, the Bekaa and Syria. The attendees saluted the heroic resistances, including Yemen and Iraq, the wounded, the popular steadfastness, and the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among the various segments of society. They also saluted and thanked all the friends and supporters in the world who are contributing and supporting the cause of Palestine, and demanding the protection of children, women and civilians from the genocidal war, and their support relief work and services for the displaced and poor families. The attendees recorded the failure of international and donor agencies to play their role as usual in crises, including UNRWA and United Nations institutions, which confirmed that these agencies and institutions are subject to the policies and decisions of governments that manage the war and dominate international and UN decisions.
The attendees discussed the activity reports submitted with recommendations on early childhood education, primary school support, child protection programs, and social services for the local community, in addition to financial affairs, including income and expenditures, where it was recorded that the center’s budget, with the rationalization of expenditures, did not witness a financial deficit this year. Since the administration committee elected last year for two years, this General Assembly session is not an electoral one, the membership of the administrative body was presented to confirm or withdraw membership, all members were reconfirmed for the coming year.
The General Assembly meeting ended with a CYC family lunch for the participants.
