في الثامن من تموز بدعوة من مؤسسة الشهيد غسان كنفاني الثقافية شارك أطفال مركز الأطفال والفتوة مثل كل عام مع أطفال مؤسسة كنفاني الى جانب حشد من الهيئات والفعاليات السياسية والأجتماعية الفلسطينية واللبنانية في احياء الذكرى الخالدة للشهيد غسان كنفاني الذي اغتاله العدو الصهيوني الأسرائيلي في 8 تموز 1972عن عمر 36 عاما، والذي مع كل يوم علي غيابه الجسدي، يزداد حضورا وتألقا، ينتقل ارثة الثقافي، السياسي، الأدبي، والفني من بلد لأخر، ومن لغة لاخرى، يتلقفه الشباب والأجيال الجديدة، والمناضلين في العالم.

تحدثت رفيقة دربه السيدة أني كنفاني مثل كل مناسبة، عن غسان الأنسان، الأب، الصديق، المحب، المفكر والمبدع، والمناضل من اجل شعيه وبلده، والتي تعمل ومعها اسرتها الصغيرة والكبيرة مؤسسة غسان كنفاني، واصدقاء ومحبي غسان، والمؤمنين بالقضية التي استشهد في سبيلها غسان على حمل الأمانة التي تركها غسان.
وانتهى الأحتفال بالتفاف الأطفال حول ضريح غسان وابنة شقيقته لميس نجم التي لم تفارقه حتى في الأستشهاد. غنوا لهما، مؤكدين على الاستمرار في المسار والنهج الذي اختطه غسان ولميس بدمهما.

تجدر الأشارة الى ان العديد من المؤسسات والهيئات ومنها مركز الأطفال والفتوة، تحي المناسبة، وتقوم بفعاليات متنوعة، وفي اكثر من بلد، كجزء من قناعة على ادانة الجريمة الأسرائيلية الصهيونية، وضرورة الأقتصاص من المجرمين، وابقاء غسان يحمل قنديله منارة تهتدي بها الشعوب نحو الحرية والعدل والأمان والسلام، وعودة فلسطين حرة مستقلة، ونحو عالم لا مكان فيه لوحشية وظلم الأمبريالية والأستعمار وشركائهم الرجعيين.
هذا يؤشر الى ان غسان لم يعد ملكا يحسب على اسرة، او وطن، او تنظيم، لقد اصبح شخصية وقضية انسانية عامة، عالمية خالدة

On the 8th of July, at the invitation of the Ghassan Kanafani Cultural Foundation, the Children & Youth Centre – CYC participated, as every year, with the children of the Kanafani Foundation, along with a crowd of Palestinian and Lebanese political and social leaders and NGOs, in commemorating the eternal memory of the martyr Ghassan Kanafani, who was assassinated by the Zionist-Israeli enemy, on July 8, 1972 at the age of 36, and whose presence and brilliance increases with every day of his physical absence. The cultural, political, literary, and artistic legacy is transmitted from one country to another, from a language to another, and the young people, new generations, and activists in the world more interested.
Mrs. Ani Kanafani, spoke like every year, about Ghassan, the man, the father, the friend, the lover, the thinker, the creator, and the struggler for his cause and his country, Which she with Ghassan Kanafani Foundation, the friends love Ghassan, and the believers in the cause he was martyred for, are working on carrying the trust that Ghassan left.

The occasion ended with the children surrounding the grave of Ghassan and his niece, Lamis Najm, who didn’t leave him even in martyrdom. Sang for them, emphasizing the continuation of the path that Ghassan and Lamis drew with their blood.
It should be noted that many institutions and groups, including CYC, riving the occasion, and carry out various activities, in many countries, as part of their conviction to condemn the Israeli-Zionist crime, and the need for justice from criminals, and to keep Ghassan carrying his lamp as a beacon that guides peoples towards freedom, justice, safety, and peace, towards a free and independent Palestine, and a world with no place for the brutality and injustice of imperialism, colonialism, and their reactionary partners.

That indicates that Ghassan is no longer is counted on a family, country, or organization. He has become a general, global, eternal personality and cause.
