On the occasion of the International Day Against Violence and the Child Day, CYC Children and the animators in Shatila camp had celebrated the occasion through talking and raising awareness about the occasion. The children have expressed them selves with joy through singing, dancing and playing. The children have raised UNICEF posters call for children protection against violence.

On 26.Nov. 2016 The general assembly of Children & youth Association has met in the presence of 34 from 39 members, 5 members had apologized for different reasons. The administrative committee has provided its narrative and financial reports of the last 2 years, with its recommended view and plans for the coming period. After long discussion to the reports the Assembly has elected new committee for 2 years. the meeting ended with family dinner.
