أحيا مركز الأطفال والفتوة الذكرى السابعة والأربعين ليوم الأرض في حضور حشد كبير من أهالي مخيم شاتيلا والفصائل الفلسطينية واللجنة الشعبية والمؤسسات الأهلية، والأصدقاء، غالبيتهم من الشباب.
افتتحت السيدة ملكة معتوق الحفل بالترحيب بالحضور، ومؤكدة على اهمية احياء المناسبة كرسالة من جيل الى جيل، كما شكرت الأصدقاء منظمة السلام الأيطالية التي ساعدت في تدريب وتجهيز فرقة شباب مركز الأطفال والفتوة التي ستقدم اولى عروضها الفلكلورية والتراث الفلسطيني في هذه المناسبة.
ومن ثم القى الأستاذ وليد سعدالدين احدى قصائدة الوطنية التي اثارت حماسة الجمهور. بدوره تحدث السيد ابو مجاهد عن اهمية وخصوصية يوم الأرض الذي بعد 47 عاما لا زلنا نؤكذ على احياؤه بالتزامن مع اهلنا في الوطن المحتل، ونستذكر العنفوان والصمود البطولي تحت الأحتلال، تماما مثل معركة الكرامة اللتان شكلتا في زمنيهما محطات فارقة في تجسيد ارادة الصمود والتحدي والمواجهة لجيش الأحتلال الصهيوني. كلتاهما مقدمات محفزة لأن تخرج جماهيرنا في الداخل الفلسطيني كل فلسطين لان تكرر المواجهة في الانتفاضة الأولى والثانية، واليوم ما نشهده في غزة وجنين ونابلس والخليل والقدس وحوارة والـ 48، في كل فلسطين ان الشعب الفلسطسني قرر التصدي لسياسات الأحتلال وجرائمه الوحشية في سبيل التحرير والعودة، لقد اقتنع شعبنا بان كل المراهنات والمحاولات بوسائل سلمية واتفاقات ترعاها الولايات المتحدة لن تصل الا لمزيد من الهيمنة وقضم الأراضي والقتل والسجن والدمار، وان لا مسار لانهاء الأحتلال الا بتعزيز المقاومة ووحدتها في فلسطين ولبنان وكل معسكر المقاومة للمشاريع الأسرائيلية الأميركية واتباعها المطبيعين العرب. ومقاطعة الشركات الداعمه.

وقد دعى الشباب لأخذ دورهم بلا اسئذان. واختيار طريقهم وجعل عنفوانفهم وسيلة للتغير وللسياسات الشجاعة، وتجسيد الديمقراطية في الهيئات والأدارات بانتخاب مجلس وطني فتي جديد من الشعب الفلسطيني مباشرة اينما كان واختيار قيادة جديدة قادرة على النهوض والمواجهة . داعيا لتعزيز الوحدة الوطنية، والترابط بين الداخل والخارج ومع كل الأصدقاء المتضامنين والأحرار في العالم. ومشجعا الشباب بأن العالم الأمبريالي الراسمالي مازوما اليوم، يتخبط بمواجهاته الداخلية وخساراته في مؤامراته في اوكرانيا، فان وقت نصر الشعوب أت، فانطلقوا.
بعد ذك توجه بالتحية لشعبنا الصامد في فلسطين واينما كانوا، وتمجيد الشهداء الخالدين، وكل التحية والتضامن مع الأسرى الأبطال في سجون العدو. وانهى حديثه بمطلع من قصيدة من ويلز. رغم كل شيء ورغم اي كان، نحن لا زلنا هنا. انظروا هذه الأمبراطورية البريطانية العجوز تتفكك، وشعوبها في اسكتلندا وايرلندا و ويلز يسعون للحرية ، ونحن بدورنا نردد كما قالوا، رغم كل شيء. رغم انف الأحتلال والاستعمار ورغم الأمبر يالية الأميركية والأذناب العملاء الرجعيين، رغم القتل والأعتقال رغم كل شيء ورغم اي كان ها نحن لا زلنا هنا ومعنا كل أحرار العالم، صامدون ومستمرون حتى التحرير والعودة.
واختتم الحفل بعرض فني رائع للفرقة الفنية لمركز الأطفال والفتوة جرى تدريبها على العروض التراثية والفنية من دبكات ورقصات وعروض مسرحية، باشراف مختصين، وجرى تجهيزها بمساعدة منظمة السلام الأيطالية مشكورة، وقد بدأ الحفل الفني في ظل حماسة وتشجيع الحضور برقصة لأطفال صف الروضة الثالث في روضة علما، تلاه عرض مسرحي – راقص لشباب الفرقة، ومن ثم عرض دبكات نالت استحسان الاهالي وتشجيعهم الكبير لاعضاء الفرقة.

The Children & Youth Center celebrate the 47th anniversary of Land Day in the presence of a large crowd of Shatila camp people, Palestinian organizations, People’s Committee, NGO’s, and friends, mostly were youths.
Mrs. Malake Maatouk opened the event by welcoming the attendees, emphasizing the importance of reviving the occasion as a message from generation to generation. She thanked the friends of the Italian Peace Association, for the support the training period, and equipping the youth band, which will present today its first performances of folklore and Palestinian heritage.
The poet Mr. Walid Saad Al-Din recited one of his national poems, which aroused the enthusiasm of the audience.

Mr. Abu Moujahed highlighted on the importance and specificity of the Land’s Day, which after 47 years we still reviving it with our people in the occupied homeland, remember the vigor and heroic steadfastness under the occupation, just like the Battle of Al Karamah, which in their times constituted milestones in the embodiment of the will to steadfastness, challenge and confrontation of the army Zionist occupation. Both are motivating preludes for our masses in the Palestinian in all of Palestine, to come out to repeat the confrontation in the first and second intifada, and what we are witnessing today in Gaza, Jenin, Nablus, Hebron, Jerusalem, Hawara and 48, the Palestinian people decided to confront the policies of the occupation and its brutal crimes for the sake of liberation and return. Our people are convinced that all bets and attempts by peaceful means and agreements sponsored by the United States will only lead to more domination, land grabbing, killing, imprisonment and destruction, and that there is no path to ending the occupation except by strengthening the resistance and its unity in Palestine, Lebanon and the entire resistance camp to the Israeli-American projects and their Arab normalizers. And increase the boycott of the companies supporting Israeli occupation.

He called the youth to take their turn without permission. Choosing their path and making their energy a means of change and courageous policies, embodying democracy in the bodies and departments by electing a new youth National Council directly from the Palestinian people wherever it is and choosing a new leadership capable of advancement and confrontation. He called for strengthening national unity and interdependence between the home and abroad and with all solidarity and freedom friends in the world. Encouraging the youth that the capitalist-imperialist world is facing historical crises today, floundering with its internal confrontations and its losses in its conspiracies in Ukraine. The time for the victory of the peoples has come, so go ahead.

After that, he saluted our steadfast people in Palestine, wherever they are, glorifying the immortal martyrs, and all salutations and solidarity with the heroic prisoners in the prisons of the enemy.
Abu Moujahed ended his speech with a stanza of a Welsh poem. Despite Of Everything, Despite every Body, We Are Still Here. Look to this old British empire disintegrate, and the peoples in Scotland, Ireland and Wales seek freedom, and we in turn repeat what they said, In Spite Of Everything. Despite the aggression of occupation and colonialism, despite the American ambush and the lackeys of the reactionary agents, despite the killing and arrest, despite everything and whatever, here we are still here and with us all the free people of the world, steadfast and continuing until liberation and return.
The ceremony concluded with a wonderful artistic performance by the artistic troupe of the Children and Youth Center, which was trained in traditional and artistic performances such as dances, dances and theatrical performances, under the supervision of specialists. Followed by a theatrical and dance show by the youth of the troupe, and then a dabke show that won the approval of the people and their great encouragement to the troupe members.
