ضمن سلسلة الندوات التي يعقدها مركز الإطفال والفتوة في مخيم شاتيلا، والتي تهدف إلى دفع المجتمع المحلي للتفكير في قضاياه الإجتماعية والمعيشية، وإشراكه في إيجاد الحلول الملائمة، عقد المركز في 20 نوفمبر 2021 حلقة نقاش بعنوان “المرأة الفلسطينية في السياسة والإقتصاد والمجتمع: حوافز ومعوقات“.

قدّم الموضوع الباحثة والناشطة الإجتماعية، السيدة وفاء عيسى، حيث تناولت موضوع حقوق المرأة من زاوية حقوق الإنسان. وألقت المتحدثة الضوء على تطور موقع المرأة وتقدمه في المجتمع ومشاركتها الإقتصادية الفعالة. وبروزه في الظروف الإقتصادية الصعبة التي يمر بها لبنان، كمنتجا أسياسياً في عائلتها.

علما أن المرأة هي المدبر لأمور عائلتها بكل التفاصيل. ومساهمتها الإقتصادية كبيرة، سواء كانت عاملة/موظفة خارج منزلها أم ربة منزل. وبالرغم من أدوارها الحيوية، ما زالت المرأة مغيبة في ما يتعلق باتخاذ القرارات سواء ضمن عائلتها أو في المجتمع أو الحياة السياسية، ومستبعدة عن صنع القرار حتى في شؤون أطفالها بغض النظر عن أنها هي الراعية الأساسية لأمورهم (مأكل، ملبس، تعليم، تربية وأخلاق؛ وهذا ما يشهد به الرجال أنفسهم). وفي هذا تقليل لمكانة المرأة كإنسان وحدّ لحقوقها. ناهيك عن تعرضها للعنف الأسري، والتحرش والابتزاز والحرمان من الأجر المتساوي مع الرجل.

شارك المجتمعون في الحوار بحيوية ووجهات نظر متباينة في الأسباب والمعوقات التي تقف في وجه مشاركة المرأة في ميادين السياسة والمجتمع. ما بين انشغالها بالأمور العائلية والمنزلية، او تحت عنوان “دورها الطبيعي (البيولوجي)”، وعدم توفر الدعم لها مادياً، معنوياً وقانونيا وشرعيا!!!– من العائلة والمحيط وقضاء الأحوال الشخصية.

Within the series of seminars held by CYC in Shatila camp, which aim at sensitizing the local community to think about its social and living issues, and involving finding appropriate solutions. CYC organized a dialogue workshop with Title:

“The Palestinian Woman in Politics, Economy, and Society: “Incentives and Obstacles”

The topic was presented by the researcher and social activist Mrs. Wafa Issa. She has addressed women’s issues from the point of view of human rights. The speaker shed light on the development and advancement of women in society and their effective economic participation. Especially with the difficult economic conditions of Lebanon. Working women are playing an essential role in this regard. Despite their vital roles, women are excluded from decision-making positions within their families, community, and politics, and are not consulted or listened to in the affairs of their children. Even they are the caregivers of their affairs (food, clothing, education, upbringing, and morals). This being the case, women are not equal as human beings and their rights are violated, abused, and harassed.

The attendees discussed the reasons & obstacles that stand in the way of women’s participation in society & politics. One of the most important reasons is her preoccupation with family and domestic matters as her first and last responsibilities, under the title “her natural (biological) role”.
