بعد ان قام مركز الأطفال والفتوة في مبادرة # معا نصمد ونستمر، بتوزيع 800 حصة تموينية في مخيمات صبرا وشاتيلا ونهر البارد والجوار، تم انجاز المبادرة الثانية بتوزيع مواد التنظيف والتعقيم التي شملت 500 اسرة بحاجة للمساعدة بمواجهة اثار فيروس كورونا الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في مخيمات صبرا وشاتيلا ونهر البارد. علما اننا لم نستطع تحقيق المبادرة كاملة، والتي كانت تهدف الوصول الى 750 اسرة محتاجة ، على امل ان نوفر مبالغ اضافية قريبا لاستكمال التوزيع.

يسر مركز الأطفال والفتوة ان يكرر الشكر لكافة الاصدقاء الذين قدموا المساعدة للأطفال والأسر الفقيرة الفلسطينية والسورية واللبنانية في هذا الوضع الصعب والفريد في مواجهة فيروس كورونا الى جانب اوضاع لبنان غير المسبوقة من انهيار اقتصادي ومالي، جمعية السلام الايطالية، ومنظمة التضامن مع فلسطين- السويد، ونادي اماج الشباب – السويد، ومؤسسة الأطفال والفتوة – السويد واصدقاء المركز ومخيم شاتيلا – سكوتلاند ود. روبرت ميلا – النمسا، ود. يانو- اليونان، السيدة نورا شوا- دار نشر الرمال – قبرص، والصديقة كيرا – المانيا وجمعية أطفال الأمل شاتيلا – فرنسا. واصدقاء اخرين خصوصا في لبنان ولندن الذين ساهموا جميعا في تغطية تكاليف حصص التموين والتنظيف والوقاية.

كما نتوجه بالشكر لجهود فريق العمل والمتطوعين والذين اندفعوا للمساعدة في اعمال التحميل والتنزيل في شاتيلا ونهر البارد وبتوضيب الحصص، والاتصال بالاسر الفقيرة، ومساعدة الحالات الخاصة بتوصيل الحصة الى المنازل. حيث عبر العديد من الاسر عن الامتنان لمبادرة المركز ولنوعية المواد الموزعة.

After CYC initiative # Together We will Steadfast & Continue, with distributing 800 rations in the camps of Sabra, Shatila, Nahr al-Bared, the second part of the initiative was accomplished by distributing Hygiene and sterilization materials that reached to 500 families in need of assistance in confronting the economic and social effects of the Corona virus in the poor camps of Sabra, Shatila and Nahr al-Bared . Note that unfortunately we could not achieve the initiative fully, which was aimed to reach 750 needy families, so we hope we will get additional funds soon to complete the distribution.

Again, CYC is pleased to thank all the friends who have assisted in this difficult and unique situation in facing the Corona virus, as well as the unprecedented situation in Lebanon of economic and financial collapse; Italian Peace Association, PGS-Sweden, the Mixgarden Youth Club -Sweden, CYC Foundation-Sweden, The Friends of CYC & Shatila Camp-Scotland, Dr. Robert Milla-Austria, Dr. Yanno-Greece, Mrs. Nora Showa-Ramal Books-Cyprus, Ms. Kira- Germany and Shatila Children of Hope Association-France. and other friends, especially in Lebanon and London who all contributed the costs and expenses…

We also thank the efforts of the CYC team and the volunteers, and who rushed to assist in the loading and unloading work in Shatila and Nahr al-Bared, arranging the rations, contacting the poor families, and assisting special cases in delivering the parcel to homes. Many families expressed their gratitude for the CYC initiative and the quality of the distributed materials.
