في 10 حزيران 2019 بدأ البرنامج الصيفي الحمائي التعليمي (الانتقال المرن من مرحلة الروضة للمرحلة الابتدائية) في فرعي شاتيلا ونهر البارد، وبمشاركة 80 طالبا وطالبة في شاتيلا من فلسطينيين وسوريين ولبنانيين، و60 طالبا وطالبة في نهر البارد من طلاب الصفين الأول والثاني للمرحلة الابتدائية، حيث تلقوا دروسا لفترة 3 اسابيع في اللغتين العربية والانكليزية والحساب. وذلك لتمكين الاطفال من بداية مشجعة من التعليم في الصفوف الابتدائية والنجاح والحد من الرسوب والتسرب.

In June 2019, the Summer Protection Educational Program (Smooth transition from kindergarten to Elementary) started in Shatila and Nahr el Bared branches, with 80 students in Shatila (Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese) and 60 students in Nahr el Bared Centre. Age group 6-8 years of the 1st and 2nd graders of elementary school, where they received 3 weeks lessons of Arabic, English and Math.This is to enable children to have an encouraging and strong start in elementary school education, success and reduce failing and dropout.
