بعد صدور نتائج الامتحانات النصف سنوية، وزيارة المدارس واللقاء مع الادارات، تمت الدعوة لاهالي الطلاب، للتشاورمعهم بالنتائج غير المرضية لعدد من الطلاب، حيث بلغ نسبة الرسوب بين طلاب التدعيم الدراسي الى 16%. وقد تبين ان الراسبين الطبيعيين نتيجة عدم استيعاب الدروس اوعدم القدرة على النجاح لا تتجاوز 3% بينما الباقي نتيجة ظروف غير طبيعية التي يعيشها الطلاب، خصوصا ضمن الاسرة. حيث تبين ان نسبة الطلاق عالية، وخلافات الابوين، او غياب الأب في العمل او السجن او لا مبالي، وكذلك الأم العاملة اسبابا تجعل الطفل بلا رعاية وحنان وفي الشارع. وعرضة اما لازمات نفسية اوانحرافات والسلوك العنيف وعدم رغبة بالتعلم. اضافة لاجواء المدرسة غير المحفزة. جعلت العديد من الطلاب يحصلون على معدلات مستحيل النجاح معها بنهاية العام الدراسي الا بالترفيع الالي الذي هو بمثابة تسرب مؤجل. هذا الى جانب 12 طالب وطالبة دون الـ 12 سنة يعانون من حالة نفسية مرضية سيئة للغاية .

كان لا بد من مصارحة الاهل بالخطر الذي يتهدد اطفالهم، وان المركز يسعى جاهدا لايجاد الحلول، لكنه لا يستطيع اخذ دورالأهل، او المدرسة، وطلب من الاهل ان يتذكروا مسؤولياتهم وخصوصا الأباء الذين للاسف لا يلعبون دورهم السليم، وان يحلوا خلافاتهم ليس امام اطفالهم الذين لا يعودوا يشعرون بالامان، وحمايتهم من الشارع والتعرض للاستغلال والاساءة والانحراف ومن ثم ترك المدرسة. وضرورة التعاون بين الاهل والمدرسة والمركز كحاضنة حب ورعاية ودعم للطفل. وقد عبر الحضورعن الارتياح والاستعداد للتعاون بشكل افضل. وجرى الحوار والتشاورمع فريق التعليم بخصوص ابنائهم وبناتهم.
After we received the results of the midyear exams, and visiting the schools and meet the administrations, CYC called for parents’ meeting in Shatila camp to discuss with them the un acceptable results of many Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese students, which reach among the remedial students to 16%. While the normal failing out not understanding the lessons 3%… The rest of failing was out of the un healthy life condition of the students. especially within the family where high rate of divorce, bad relations among the parents, absence of the father either at work, prison, delinquent behavior or careless. Also the working mothers for long time out of home, all of that makes the children without love or care and in the street most of the time target to psychological problems, delinquencies, violent with no desire to the education. plus the schools atmosphere is not motivating.. That lead students to get very law marks impossible to pass at the end of the school year except through the false promoting. which is postponed dropout… 12 boys and girls bellow 12 years are suffering from serious psychology problems.

It was necessary to talk frankly with the parents about the threatened risks their children, CYC is trying its best to find solutions, but can’t play the roles of the parents or schools. The parents, especially the fathers should play their roles well.not to resolve their problems in front of the children, whom won’t feel secure or safe, children to be surround them by love and care, protect them from the street, abuse, violence, exploitation, delinquency behaviors before they became out of schools with no right future.
It is important to have cooperation among the Parents, schools and CYC as love, friendly, support and protection circle towards the children/ students.
The presence expressed their appreciation and ready to cooperate better. Then they discuss with the teachers their children conditions and how to follow together.
